My boyfriend surprised me and took me out to this restaurant for dinner tonight and we both thought it was *AMAaaaZING*. It was our first time there and it gets high points on all fronts from us. Price: Awesome. The same or cheaper than the take-out places near us. None of that nonsense of charging you for crispy noodles like at the take out place. We also requested black tea and that was free with the meal, as was the extra rice that we requested. I will never get Chinese take-out again, I will just drive the extra 10 minutes and eat in at Tung Hing. Service: Great. Our server was adorable and super friendly and helpful. Knew the menu well and able to make recommendations for vegetarians. Atmosphere: Pretty nice. Cute ceiling tiles, spacious, soft lighting, nice soft Chinese music like you would expect in a Chinese restaurant. I went to the eat-in Chinese place near 41 and College one time and they were playing Reggaeton remixes... Food: Obviously, amazing. The best I've had in SW FL. Cleanliness: Yup, nice and clean. Go ahead and give it a shot!

This place is ridiculous I'll never order. I check the website and it says right on the website that they delivery within 5 miles from their restaurant. I live 4.5 miles from their restaurant. She said they wouldn't delivery to my address. I asked why she said they just don't it's too far. I asked to speak with the owner and she hangs up the phone. That is bad service I have never seen a company be like that.

Staying at local hotel for night and this Chinese delivery place was recommended. We ordered this Tuesday afternoon and it took over two hours for the food to be delivered even though this place is 6 minutes from the hotel. My boyfriend called when it was 20 til two hours of waiting and the person answering the phone told us the driver was already there, we waited another half hour after that for our food to arrive. Right when we were about to call a second time the driver arrived with zero apologies. The food was decent and hot when it came but the service was terrible, the wait was not worth it especially with no heads up that one beef dish, one chicken dish, rice and two spring rolls would take 2.5 hours.

I couldnt eat the kung pao chicken or mongolian beef. It tasted terrible. I dont know what is going on but the meat is not fresh and their brown sauce is horrible. Sorry guys but I cant believe folks think this is good. I eat all over and thus one is just wrong. The only thing I felt I could eat was the crab rangoon and fried rice. I wont be back. Place didnt look very clean either and my wait time exceeded 30 mins. Not sure if thats long when their are only about 10 ppl in restaurant. Oh and as I muster to eat their version of special fried rice they put lettuce in it. Who does that? The only veggie I would think they add would be bok choy BUT even that doesnt belong in heat hot fried rice.

We adore this place - try to make it in at least once a month . Food is always hot and fresh and the best we have tried in Fort Myers . We highly recommend the fried dumplings and the hot peppery chicken. It's divine !

Gave them a shot and was a bit disappointed, since I was at work and they were close by I called them and asked for a order of fried chicken wings in garlic sauce, and what I got was not what I ordered. it pretty much was fried chicken wings in general tos sauce. and while it did look appetizing with a beautiful glaze.. there was hardly any flavor. All look but no taste.

We had a tough time finding a Chinese restaurant that was not a buffet or take out only. Thanks to Yelp we found this restaurant and it was close to where we were staying. . The dining room is on rough shape but the food made up for that. The wonton soup was really good. The egg rolls were okay but freshly prepared which is nice. The prices are really reasonable and the waitress was kind and efficient.

I got Tung Hing for the first time last week and enjoyed it very much. Tonight I ordered from another Chinese restaurant and hated the food. So I called Tung Hing and got my chicken lo mein and egg roll delivered to me in 10 minutes and to top it off, the food is fantastic once again!... Great job keep up the good work.. And thanks for saving my dinner tonight!

Awesome Chinese food at a great price! Service is always great. Very happy to have found this little hole in the wall - especially because I'm very particular about my Chinese!

I've chosen restaurants abroad often after reading the reviews in yelp and was never disappointed until tonight. After reading the comments of Tun Hing Restaurant we were really looking forward having a nice Chinese dinner. Unfortunately it was far away from being decent food. Sorry but we cannot recommend this restaurant at all. Were very disappointed.

Anyone from North East states of America that have been introduced to "real" Chinese food closest to New York will tell you that this place is as good as it gets if your in Southwest Florida. I must admit that their fried rice and teriyaki sticks keep me coming back and they soothe the common homesickness to my taste buds. If you havent tried this place - you havent lived life. Yes, they are DELICIOUS and Yes, THEY DELIVER!!! (OMG!) Tip your drivers well and save your fortunes from your cookies...you never know!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
